Shadow Play:
A collection of photographs using shadows to tell a story. It begins with a child who loses his parents at a very young age, but continues to be watched over by them. This child expresses his dreams and hopes through these images using shadow-seeing himself grow into a young boy and achieving his goal of graduating from school. With interesting forms and shadows, fear is made humorous and love is made into something that keeps us from being alone after loss.
With the use of various light sources, objects, persons, and photo editing on photoshop, these images will be made alive. The purpose of this collection is to tell a story and to create an emotional connection between the subject and viewer. Various photographers who incorporated the use of shadows in their photographs were the source of inspiration of this collection (see link).
